Compact is the new cool. The success of the brand’s previous SoundLink wireless Bluetooth speaker led the company into releasing a compact version of the speakers this year. Weighing 1.5 pounds and sporting dimensions of 2 by 7.1 by 2.3 inches (HWD), these speakers have enjoyed heavy sales. The sound is impeccable and there have rarely been complaints in terms of the sound quality. However, the cost is an issue but then the SoundLink mini is much better than its competitor and is absolute value for money.
The compact design along with the brushed aluminium finish the device looks classy and sophisticated. There is nothing about the design that can be put at fault and the performance of the device matches the standards expected by a brand like Bose. It was originally designed to be used with outdoor projectors and televisions like these. The controls of the device have been systematically places with volume, power and mute buttons on the top left and Bluetooth and Auxiliary input buttons on the top right. The back of the speaker sports a metallic grille which adds to the elegance of the design elements given to the device.
The device was introduced in the market with the sole purpose of impressing the music lovers. It has successfully done that by giving out clear and loud sound with no distortions at high volumes as well. The bass makes the speaker shake which is not alien to most devices and is nothing to worry about.
The overall sound quality of these outdoor speakers are better than most of its counterparts and we believe that the sound is also more directional than other devices of the sort. One of the major issues that has come into picture with the device is that of charging. Sans USB charging, the device is not the first choice for many users. However, the battery life is 7 hours which is pretty decent but there are other devices in the market that have a better battery life.
The crisp sound of the device would make you forget the cost factor and even if you’re low on money, you would end up saving and purchasing the product anyway.
